• The quality of your life is dependent on the quality of your choices. Most of us are unaware and asleep. Your mind relies on the past programming, beliefs, and concepts. The problem is that we believe most of our thoughts, and this leads to believing thoughts that aren’t true. Your levels of awareness determine the quality of your choices.
  • Take the time to invalidate some of your automatic thoughts. Otherwise, situations may end up far differently than you planned. Assumptions, categories, and labels of your team mates may cause you to operate from your category. Important cues might be missed. If you hear something different than you have come to believe, you might not even see it and end up in an unfavorable circumstance.
  • Ask yourself: Is it true? How do I know that it’s true? Those thoughts influence us. When we label other people, it may give rise to actions, events, and patterns. You can remind yourself that you don’t have to believe that thought. Through labeling, you destabilize assumptions. You are not more noble, compassionate, or wiser by categorizing others. Be more aware. What are your assumptions? Do you have the full picture?
