- Get things done. Do you get caught up in task hypnotism? Are you always in the “get things done” mode? Some are always caught up in the next thing to do. This is like an addiction. Since you stay in the “getting things done” mode, you constantly want something to do. You’re on a treadmill of getting things done – getting things done – getting things done.
- Time to wake up. You’re operating on old patterns and relating to the present out of the past. This results in meaningless tasks and work. You will continue to do this until you realize you are caught up in tactical hypnotism. You are no longer making strategic moves. It’s time to wake up and consider the bigger picture.
- Take a sacred pause. Quiet your thoughts. Choose a time in the morning, afternoon, or the best time of day for you to just disconnect. It’s time to stop thinking about what needs to be done, isn’t getting done, can be done, ought to be done, and should be done. Stand still and be present. Enjoy the present moment.
